When developing the WATCHU we wanted to create a product that would help put parents mind at ease (as much as possible!) and give children a chance to develop independence, responsibility and most importantly have fun while being safe!
After getting some feedback from parents we had messages land in our inbox from families who had unique children. For them, the WATCHU was a crucial safety net for keeping them safe. Spurred on by the positive comments we were motivated to reach out to charitable groups to meet these parents and children face to face. We were thrilled at the response and last weekend we headed up to Mansfield to meet Kool Kids. The charity is a fantastic example of parents and volunteers coming together to make lives better for children.
We had a great time making healthy smoothies, pasta for lunch and then joining in with the Crafts for Father's Day Gifts. We got stuck in painting ladybird door stops as the perfect handmade gift for dads, some were a little more abstract than others but it's the thought that counts! After lots of painting, we got to see first hand how WATCHU can help families and take that away with us to make our product even better. Jackson and Joshua acted as our very helpful demonstrators and were very keen to show off the mobile and pedometer functions - brace yourselves for active kids! We use the pedometer as a way to promote a healthy lifestyle and it helps burn some of that energy up for a better nights sleep.

We have more charities to visit in the upcoming weeks. If you are part of one, know one or would just like to get in touch then message us on Social Media or comment on here.
