Last week the WATCHU and Global Tech team were thrilled to attend the Cash For Kids Ball, in association with The Wave Swansea and at Oldwalls Gower. The sun was thankfully shining and all the attendees could enjoy the gorgeous gardens and sip prosecco in the sun.
As a company, we're passionate about protecting children and contributing to our local area in Swansea. As a Welsh company, we are proud to have been linked to local charities and we saw this as a golden opportunity to help raise money for a fabulous charity that feeds back funds into Swansea Bay area.
Entertainment took the form of a musical group of children performing songs from Mary Poppins and later in the evening, Into the Ark from ITV's The Voice and finally Simon Webb from Blue. After dinner, the auction commenced and the second to last prize of the evening was the prize donated by WATCHU, a weeks accommodation in the family friendly ski resort of Pamporovo in Bulgaria. The apartment raised a huge £1100 for the charity and we're thrilled to have been able to make that contribution.
The Wave and Oldwalls put on a spectacular night and we can't wait to see the positive the impact that the raised funds have and for the Cash For Kids Ball 2018!
